Axl Rose Turned Up in ‘Looney Tunes’ with a New (?) Song — Check it Out

After completing their marathon Not In This Lifetime reunion tour, Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses have an uncertain future. Will the iconic rock band continue, either with new music and additional touring (or both), or was this big blowout world tour a one-and-done deal?

It remains unclear at this point just what GnR might get up to after finishing the big tour, which was a pretty remarkable rock and roll spectacle. But earlier this week, the powerhouse vocalist apparently turned up in animated form on an episode of the Boomerang show New Looney Tunes, and he brought a new song with him.

Citing plans for a concert with his band “Steel Underpants,” Axl asks Bugs Bunny and his pals where the local civic center is — but an asteroid is headed toward earth, so naturally the only option at the moment is for the Looney Tunes characters to plug in and turn on their instruments and help blow up the asteroid. It’s simple science, and a great excuse to slam through a big, powerful song … which they do:

Now, this brings up a few questions. Is this a new Axl Rose solo song? Is it a new Guns N’ Roses song? OR, perhaps, is it a new song from AC/DC with Axl, which was rumored back when he fronted the legendary band for some shows in 2017? The song, presumed to be titled “Rock the Rock,” definitely sounds a bit like AC/DC, that’s for sure.

But then again, who knows. This sounds like a mystery that will (hopefully) be resolved soon …
