It’s almost here. On Nov. 2, Bohemian Rhapsody will hit theaters and tell the amazing story of Freddie Mercury and the legendary rock band as it conquered the world.
As we’re a week out of its official release, anticipation is building and critics are raving about Rami Malek’s portrayal of the late Mercury, but the film is more than just a Freddie story — as rock fans are well aware, Queen was a band filled with storylines and personalities.
That being said, one last, official trailer has been released in the lead-up to release day and this one paints more of a picture of the film itself than previous teaser trailers have. Watch the over-two-minute clip below:
In addition to Malek’s portrayal of Mercury, the film also stars Gwilym Lee as Brian May, Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor, Joseph Mazzello as John Deacon, and Lucy Boynton as Mary Austin.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound. They reach unparalleled success, but in an unexpected turn Freddie, surrounded by darker influences, shuns Queen in pursuit of his solo career. Having suffered greatly without the collaboration of Queen, Freddie manages to reunite with his bandmates just in time for Live Aid. While bravely facing a recent AIDS diagnosis, Freddie leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music.
