One Song, Four Videos: Watch Paul McCartney’s Immersive and Connected ‘Come On To Me’ Clips

A week ago, Paul McCartney premiered a music video for “Come On To Me,” a song featured on his No. 1-charting new album, Egypt Station. It depicted a security guard named “Little Freddie” who entertained himself through the course of an otherwise boring graveyard shift at a department store by dancing, heartily, to the song:

Two more videos then showed up as well, one chronicling the food truck adventures of Ali Almohri:

And one depicting an evening for Elsa Morales, working alone in an office building late at night:

This was all leading up to the new premiere of a fourth video for the song, bringing all three narratives together in one cohesive presentation:

Sir Paul also invited fans to film themselves dancing to the song and to post videos to Instagram and Twitter using #COTMChallenge.

This interactive method of releasing a video and garnering attention for both “Come On To Me” and Egypt Station (which also had a more traditional music video for the song “Fuh You”) is pretty fun, so here’s hoping it resonates with fans on the internet.
