If you’ve been in or around London lately, there’s a chance you’ve seen Sir Paul McCartney out in public. Just a few weeks ago, Macca and comedian/late night host James Corden took a fun musical tour of Liverpool, and for his next act Sir Paul returned to another iconic spot: Abbey Road.
Before playing a special gig in advance of his new album Egypt Station (out September 7), McCartney recreated the classic Beatles album art for Abbey Road by crossing that iconic street once again:
Just great. Everybody in the vicinity when this happened has a great story to tell, for sure!
For those of us not lucky enough to catch Paul out in the wild, we can at least check out his Freshen Up tour later this year.
