Rest in Peace, Arranger/Composer Paul Buckmaster: 1946-2017

Paul Buckmaster, the Grammy-winning composer, arranger and conductor who worked with luminaries including Sir Elton John, the Rolling Stones, David Bowie and more, died at the age of 71 on Tuesday.

Among the albums and songs arranged by Buckmaster include the following, a rather dizzying array of classic tunes:

    Paul’s amazing arrangements inspired many of us to make our living recording “outside the world of classical violin.” What a talented, great, humble guy. The music world will truly miss Paul.
