On Halloween, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live, and yes, it was filled with silly shenanigans.
For one, Grohl presented himself as David Letterman — but a post-retirement Letterman, complete with bushy, grizzled gray beard. It was pretty convincing, and Grohl wore it for his opening monologue:

and a chat with Alice Cooper:
Grohl’Letterman and Bell/Reynolds also performed a mash-up medley of Metallica and Frozen songs, because of course they did:
Dave also took over Kimmel’s office:
And Cooper performed a medley of “Ballad of Dwight Fry” and “Killer,” with the Foo Fighters as his backing band:
Now that’s a Halloween party.
