Deluxe Edition of Pretenders’ ‘Alone’ Out 12/1; First-Ever ‘Austin City Limits’ Gig Debuts

In late 2016, the Pretenders released Alone, a record produced by the Black Keys band leader Dan Auerbach. It was a vibrant, resonant collection of new material from Chrissie Hynde and her band mates, an LP that stands up well alongside their past material.

On December 1, a deluxe edition CD of Alone will be released. Featuring the original album as well as 15 live recordings made from various stops on the Pretenders’ tour in recent months, it sounds like a perfect snapshot of where the group is at this stage of their iconic career.
