In mid-July, a new supergroup was announced that was worthy of attention due to the names attached to it: Stewart Copeland of the Police, Adrian Belew of King Crimson (and other acts), Mark King of Level 42 and Italian singer Vittorio Cosma.
Called Gizmodrome, they announced their arrival with an eclectic song titled “Amaka Pipa,” but that was just a preview of what was to come on their debut album.
That record is out today – and man, is it a fun listen. Featuring 12 songs and spanning roughly 45 minutes in length, Gizmodrome is a groovy, funky, poppy, jazzy listen. Do so below, via Spotify:
