It’s been 45 years since the heralded Santana Band lineup released an album (1971’s Santana III), but the time has finally come for a follow-up.

On April 15, Santana will release Santana IV, a collection of new recordings reuniting Carlos Santana with original band mates Gregg Rolie, Neal Schon, Michael Carabello, and Michael Shrieve.

Needless to say, this is pretty big news…and it was detailed as such in Santana’s official announcement, which also includes the album’s track listing:

Stay tuned – the album’s lead single, Anywhere You Want To Go, will be premiered on February 5.
