With drummer Phil Rudd caught up in a host of legal issues at the moment, AC/DC had to find a replacement – after all, they have a slew of tour dates approaching in support of their new album Rock or Bust.
The current internet has the band moving forward with a familiar face – Chris Slade, who appeared on the band’s 1990 album The Razor’s Edge.
As MetalSucks.net points out, the source of this recent chatter has to do with a canceled appearance that Slade was supposed to make at…an optometrist’s office:
The follow-up to that bit of news was this intriguing passage:
theres [sic] actually big news regarding Slade and his career coming in next several days which is why he had to reschedule this event.”
