2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the Beatles‘ American debut on the Ed Sullivan Show. There will already be a host of festivities centered around commemorating that event – including a televised Grammys tribute and a special box set celebrating their American releases.
In addition to those events, the Fest for Beatles Fans (which has been around since 1974) has big plans for the year as well.
There will be three Fests spread across the United States in 2014: in New York City Feb. 7-9, in Chicago August 15-17, and in Los Angeles October 12-14. While details have yet to be announced regarding the Chicago and L.A. events since they’re far in the future, NYC’s is shaping up to be quite a special time.
